MNA � President Hassan Rouhani stated Mon. Donald Trump�s threats against Iran indicates that the country�s government and its people have chosen the right path.


Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said other than a fabricated regime and a few small countries, the whole world is against the US President�s stance toward the landmark Iran nuclear deal, which is unprecedented in history.

During his speech, he also touched upon Iran�s weapon arsenal, stressing on its resemblance to that of all countries of the world. �Iran's defense doctrine is deterence, and we want nothing beyond that. Our military might must be capable of deterring threats. Voicing concerns over Iran�s presence in the region and its defense power is merely an escape forward for the US,� he added.

Pointing to the conditions of Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and the oppressed people of Yemen, the Iranian president asserted that Arrogance and US' hegemony can never triumph.

He further stated that without Iran�s involvement, it is impossible to make a significant improvement in the situation of Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, North Africa and the Persian Gulf.
