IAEA chief coordinator confirms Iran’s compliance with JCPOA

IRNA – Chief Coordinator of International Atomic Energy Agency Cornel Feruta said on Saturday that the agency can confirm Iran’s full implementation of the 2015 nuclear deal.

Feruta made the remarks at a specialized workshop on Iran nuclear deal in Moscow Nonproliferation Confab (2017).

Iran honors its commitments under the nuclear deal, the official said.

IAEA supervision in Iran is high in an unprecedented way, Feruta said, adding that IAEA inspectors are present in Iran every day and their information about the country’s nuclear sites is several times more than before.

The two-day Moscow Nonproliferation Confab was attended by participants from 40 countries.

An Iranian delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi was also present at the event.
