Iran hopes for extensive cooperation with Spain

IRNA Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce Shafeie says Iran hopes Spain, which is its oldest trade partner, will launch extensive cooperation with Iran.

'We have close to $200 billion worth of projects in Iran and hope that a lion's share will be given to Spain,' said Shafeie.

Meanwhile, Head of Iran Chamber Board member Keyvan Kashefi hoped that regarding firm determination of government and the private sector for expansion of economic relations, we can rectify the process for attraction of foreign investment and expand our cooperation with old trade partners.

Kashefi said in the new era, many laws are amended and investments are monitored and efforts are made to well manage investment in Iran.

Meanwhile, Iran ambassador to Spain Mohammad Hassan Fadaiefar said Iranian government reserves a good share to the private sector, trying to increase share of private sector in the Iranian economy.
