IRNA – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will pay visits to Kazakhstan, New York, and some African countries, according to the presidential office chief of staff.
Mahmoud Vaezi said on Wednesday, ‘We are planning the president’s trip to New York to participate the United Nations General Assembly meetings.’
UN General Assembly annual meetings are held every year in New York with the participation of the world leaders or high ranking officials.
Vaezi also said that President Rouhani laeves for Kazakhstan next week. The president will also be in New York in mid-September.
He added the time of the president’s trip to South Africa and some other African countries is not determined yet. The tour is going to be taken to strengthen the ties between Iran and African countries, he said..
