Senior MP underlines Iran's tough stance against any visit to military sites

FNA- Rapporteur of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Seyed Hossein Naqavi Hosseini underlined that Iran will not allow visit to its military centers.

"Inspecting Iran's military sites is against the spirit and context of the 2015 international nuclear deal," Naqavi Hosseini said.

The senior lawmaker reiterated that any inspection to Iran's military sites is absolutely forbidden.

"The July 2015 agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), is a nuclear deal," Naqavi Hosseini said.

Naqavi Hosseini's remarks came after the visit of US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley visited Vienna, Austria on August 23 to discuss JCPOA and Iran's nuclear activities with the officials of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The IAEA has already released seven different reports on Iran's nuclear activities verifying that all of the country's activities are being made under the nuclear deal and for the peaceful purposes as well. The US diplomat claimed at a press conference later that the nuclear deal has 'made no distinction between military and non-military sites, adding that there are also numerous undeclared sites that have not been inspected; that is a problem."

Haley further said that inspectors should have access to Iran's military sites; a request which is totally rejected by Tehran.
