A Look at Iranian Newspaper Front Pages on August 21



Iran Front Page- IFP has taken a look at the front pages of Iranian newspapers on Monday, August 21, and picked headlines from 20 of them. IFP has simply translated the headlines and does not vouch for their accuracy.





All newspapers today covered the almost unanimous vote of confidence Rouhanis proposed ministers received from the Parliament in the Sunday session.

Some papers, both reformist and conservative, criticized the Parliament for approving so many of Rouhanis ministerial nominees, but several others welcomed the support and highlighted the heavy burden on his administrations shoulders.

Another top story was the remarks made by IRGC Quds Force Commander Major General Qassem Soleimani about the dangers of dividing people into reformist/conservatives and those who observe or dont observe the Islamic dress code.
