IRNA - The government has made great achievements at the international scene during first tenure of President Hassan Rouhani, first vice president said on Tuesday.

'Today, Iranophobia no longer exists and Iranian nationals have no problem for opening banking account in foreign banks across the world, Eshaq Jahangiri said in a parliament (Majlis) briefing held to review proposed ministers' qualifications.

'I'm sure that Mr. Zarif (President Rouhani's pick for Foreign Minister) will create such an atmosphere in the 12th government in cooperation with the neighboring countries that we can witness economic boom,' Jahangiri added.

'We have come out of the Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter,' he underlined in a reference to consequences.

Jahangiri also hailed the country's economic advancements, including single digit inflation and economic growth.

Iran has no problem for transfer of money and can buy the commodities it need through oil revenues, he added.

Jahangiri also highlighted Iran, Total deal, adding that in the past four years, Islamic Republic oil recovery from the joint South Pars field exceeded that of Qatar.

According to the sixth five-year development plan (2016-21), Islamic Republic should absorb 70 million dollars of foreign investment, he noted.

Rouhani was reelected as Iranian President for the second term after winning a landmark victory at the May 19 presidential election.
