IRNA � Deputy Head of Supreme Leader's Office for Communication and International Affairs said Iran is the symbol of fighting terrorism among world countries.


Ayatollah Mohsen Qomi made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian professors and students residents abroad on Wednesday.

In the absence of Iran�s efforts, Daesh would spread across Iraq, Syria regional countries and Europe as well.

He pointed to the fact that Iran enemies have now substituted defensive approach for aggressive one, saying Iran�s allies around the globe are supporting resistance actively.

He went on to say that some 20 million people are suffering from famine in the Middle East and 80,000 kids are about to die in Myanmar while some people own tremendous wealth.

The 11th Annual Conference of Iranian Professors and Students Abroad
which started work on July 16 in Mashad wrapped up on Wednesday.
