IRNA - Commander of Iran's Law Enforcement Force Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari said on Thursday that all border guards are on alert aimed at establishing sustainable security along the country�s borderlines.


Speaking to a number of local clerics in the western province of Kermanshah, Ashtari reiterated that Iran's armed forces are utterly ready to protect the country�s borderlines sacrificing their lives for the sake of their motherland.
The Iranian Law Enforcement Force has so far provided remarkable services, said the commander touching upon twin terror attacks in Tehran against the parliament and Imam Khomeini's Mausoleum on June 7.

�The armed forces managed to rapidly foil the attacks thanks to their vigilance,� the commander added.

Describing the performance of police forces and border guards as positive, he added the Iranian armed forces are completely aware of the regional developments.

The commander also hailed the Iranian armed forces� restless efforts in different military operations.
