Iran-Iraq trade growing after Mosul liberation: Official

July 11, The Iran Project Chairman of Iran-Iraq joint chamber of commerce has stated that after the liberation of Mosul from Daesh terrorist group, the two countries trade relations areexpanding.

Attending the conference on the golden opportunities of trade with Iraq held in Tehran on Monday, Yahya Al-e Eshaq referred to Irans $ 10 billion exports to Iraq, and said it can reach $ 25 billion.

Al-e Eshaq stressed that Iraqs market can be the largest market in the region in the next 20 years, adding to successfully present the market we should know the countrys conditions and the activities of foreign competitors in their business relations with Baghdad.

Touching upon Iran-Iraq historical relations, he noted that Tehran is capable of presenting in most economic areas of Baghdad.

Chairman of Iran-Iraq joint chamber of commerce went on to say that after the liberation of Mosul, Iraq will have a better condition for having business relations with other countries, but we must still try to continue trading with the country.

The Conference on Golden Business Opportunities with Iraq, aimed at developing economic exchanges, removing barriers and problems for businessmen, and finding new markets in various Iraqi cities, was held in Tehran on Monday with the presence of businessmen, investors, as well as some government and private sector officials.
