IRNA -- Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said on Wednesday that he had a very good meeting on the JCPOA with the senior Italian officials.


Zarif made the remarks in an interview with IRNA after taking part in the ECFR annual session.

He said the two sides in the meeting discussed the ongoing regional issues, JCPOA, and the role that Europe can play in line with the JCPOA and cooperation with Iran on regional issues. He said good questions and answers were raised and such meetings, that bring stances closer to each other, are essential under the present conditions when the region is under critical conditions.
