In the full-packed Azadi’s 12000 spectators, Milad Ebadipour scored 20 points for Iran and Belgium’s Bram Van Den Dries set the pace for his team scoring 17 points.
Iran lost to Italy (3-0) and Brazil (3-1) and defeated Poland (3-1) in the tournament’s Week One.
Igor Kolakovic’s men have been scheduled to meet Serbia on Saturday and play Argentina on Sunday.
The FIVB World League is the premier annual men’s volleyball tournament with a total of 36 participating teams in 2017.
The 36 teams have been split into three groups of 12 teams and will play the preliminary round in a pool format over three weeks, before the best teams gather for the finals in each group.
