Financial Tribune- Minister of Roads and Urban Development Abbas Akhoundi has reiterated what has been stressed by many officials in the past few months that the ailing Iranian housing sector is emerging out of recession.

�If you look at all the newspapers and press today, you will see that all the telling indicators are showing that the housing sector is on the verge of growth and boom,� Akhoundi was also quoted as saying by Fars News Agency. The minister noted that a series of bad policies and measures in the past led to the creation of 4.6 million vacant residential units, emphasizing that a housing boom will not lead to a rise in prices.
