Culture minister inaugurates 25th Int’l Quran Exhibit

IRNA – Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Reza Salehi Amiri on Monday inaugurated the 25th International Quran Exhibition at Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (Grand prayers hall) in the capital, Tehran.

Atomic Energy Organization Of Iran Chief Ali Akbar Salehi had also attended the inauguration ceremony.

The international section of international Quran exhibit will begin on June 7 for five days.

According to the International Quran News Agency, the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla will host the expo until the 22nd day of the holy month of Ramadan (June 17).

There will be different sections, including Quranic activities, international, children and young adults, arts, government organizations, NGOs, and Hijab and Ifaf.

They will showcase the latest achievements in Quranic and Islamic fields as well as books and artworks featuring Quranic and Islamic themes.

Representatives of media outlets, institutions and Quranic figures from 20 countries will be present in the international section.

A Hijab and Ifaf Bazar will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition offering Hijab products with a 30-percent discount.

Honoring servants of the Quran and holding specialized forums on Quranic and Islamic issues will be among other programs of the international Quranic event.

The motto of this year’s exhibition is ‘Quran, Ethics and Life”.

People can visit the exhibition every day from 5 PM to midnight.

This edition of Quran exhibition is held in an area of 40,000 m² with collaboration of over 40 institutes and 70 contractors.

Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition is an annual event organized and held by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance during the holy month of Ramadan, aimed at introducing the Quranic achievements of Iran.

With the slogan “Quran, Ethics, Life”, The 25th edition of Tehran International Quran Exhibition will run in the month of June from 5 p.m. to 12 p.m.
