Commander: Iran enjoys sustainable security

IRNA – Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said despite the fact that the enemies have created insecurities in regional states, Iran boasts a sustainable security.

Addressing a naval gathering late on Saturday, he added that security has a special status in any country and enemies of Islam have attempted to disrupt Iran’s security but they failed.

“Any progress in the society depends on prevalence of security and in the absence of it, no gain in economy, development and industry will be made,” he said.

The commander stressed the need for unity and solidarity among the entire nation as the necessities of establishing security in the country.

The pivot on which sustainable security turns is armed forces, he said, noting that prevalence of security inside the country and outside borders comes as a result of having powerful, capable, smart and hardworking armed forces.

The main feature in promoting the country’s defense power is having divine-oriented manpower, Sayyari said, noting that when the enemies see unity and cohesion among the people from all walks of life, they stop thinking about aggression against the Islamic Republic.
