Assad’s message of condolence on Iran’s mine blast

IRNA – Syrian President Bashar al-Assad extended his condolences over the mine explosion incident to President Hassan Rouhani on Monday.

President Assad in the message to his counterpart expressed his and the Syrian people’s condolence on the mine explosion in Azad Shahr, according to Syria’s embassy in Tehran.

At least 42 miners were killed and dozens were inured last Wednesday in a huge blast in the Zemestanyurt coal mine, northeastern province of Golestan.

The Syrian president has prayed for the blessing of the deceased miners, patience for their families, and quick recovery of the injured.
