SANA � Army units, supported by the Syrian Air Force, launched operations against ISIS gatherings and fortifications in the surroundings of Deir Ezzor city.

SANA reporter in Deir Ezzor said that the airstrikes targeted ISIS positions in the area surrounding Deir Ezzor Airport, Seriet Jneid and the graveyards area, destroying a number of fortifications and a large number of weapons and ammunition.

The reporter added that army units clashed with ISIS terrorists in the vicinity of the Airport and the graveyards area in parallel with the artillery strikes on their fortifications and movement axes, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.

Homs

Army units established control over Tallet al-Midraj (hill) and three other points in the eastern countryside of Homs, after killing numbers of ISIS terrorists and destroying their weaponry and ammunition.
