Iranian citizen killed in Istanbul

IRNA – An Iranian citizen was shot dead on Saturday night in Istanbul, Turkey.

While commuting in a luxury car in Sarıyer city, the two people on board were stopped and assassinated, Turkish newspapers reported.

One of the two persons was killed and the other one who was seriously injured was transferred to the hospital.

The Turkish website Hürriyet Daily News did not refer to their names but according to some news sources, the victim is Director of the GEM Group, Saeed Kariman.

The Turkish officials have not so far reported any news about the incident.
