IRNA – The Iraqi trade attaché in Iran Shaker Rawan Al-Daami said that Iran is the third provider of Iraq’s required commodities.
Al-Daami made the remarks on the sidelines of a press conference with the attendance of members of Iraqi mission in Iran and a visiting Iraqi delegation in North Khorasan province.
He said that China and Turkey stand on the first and second places in economic cooperation with and exports to Iraq.
Al-Daami underscored developing relations between Iran and Iraq, noting that the cooperation between Iraq and Iranian provinces has resulted in good agreements between the two sides.
He also pointed to launching Iranian banks in Iraq, saying that baking transactions have been facilitated by opening of branches of a number of the Iranian banks in Iraq.
Al-Daami went on to say that Iraq will support Iranian merchants and it will pave the way for foreign investment in Iraq.
