Iran’s Qods Forces Comdr among 100 world most influential

IRNA – American magazine ‘TIME’ listed Commander of the Qods Forces of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major-General Qasem Soleimani among 100 Most Influential People in the World 2017.

Due to the measures taken by Soleimani, he attracted the world’s attention, TIME reported.

“When ISIS overran Northern Iraq, it was Soleimani who armed the Shia militias and organized the defense of Baghdad,” TIME said.

“Soleimani is also a master of propaganda, posting selfies from battlefields across the region to convince one and all that he is the master of the Middle Eastern chessboard,” TIME continues.

Different world figures such as US President Donald Trump, First Lady of the United States Melania Trump, Director of the FBI James Comey, The Secretary of Defense James Mattis, Russian President Vladimir Putin, President of China Xi Jinping, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Theresa May, the Catholic leader Pope Francis, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan are also in the list.
