IRNA � Iran�s President Hassan Rouhani inaugurated a 600-bed hospital as an organ transplant center in Shiraz on Thursday.


According to the authorities, regarding construction and equipment, this hospital is unique.

Dr. Seyyed Ali Hosseini, the father of liver transplant in Iran, and the Head of Bu Ali Hospital said that increasing number of patients in need of kidney, liver, heart and pancreas transplant necessitates constructing medical centers like this.

To help resolve this problem, Bu Ali Hospital, the biggest and best-equipped transplant center in the Middle East, was made.

During Rouhani�s visit to Shiraz, 220 health and medical projects, alongside 400 other projects, were inaugurated.
