IRNA � Iran�s new Ambassador to Iraq Iraj Masjedi arrived on Tuesday in Baghdad and was welcomed by Iranian diplomats and head of Iran�s representative office in the city.


A number of Iraqi officials were present in the welcoming ceremony where Masjedi replaced Hassan Danaeifar in Baghdad.

Iraqi officials at the foreign ministry who attended the welcoming ceremony at Baghdad international airport expressed hope that during the tenure of the new Iranian ambassador to witness expansion of relations and cooperation between the two countries.
