IRNA � Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is scheduled to arrive in Moscow on Friday for discussions on the crisis in Syria.

The visit to Moscow will be made upon an invitation by his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.

Iran�s ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanaei wrote on his official Telegram page on Thursday that during his visit to Moscow, the foreign minister will first have a bilateral meeting with Russian foreign minister and then he will have trilateral talks with his Russian and Syrian counterparts.

Last October, foreign ministers of Iran, Russia and Syria met in a meeting in Moscow which led to a series of intra-Syrian talks in Astana, Kazakhstan.
