IRNA � �The registration of 176 nominees out of 196 has been confirmed on the third day of enlisting candidates,� says Ali Pourali-Motlagh, the Secretary of Election Headquarters.

�There is sum of 439 candidates registration since the beginning of the enlisting process,� said Porali-Motlagh.

The youngest and oldest nominees are 18 and 88 and the most of the candidates� age range is 46-50, he also said.

�There are 11 women nominees of the whole candidates,� he further said.

The final list of the candidates eligible to run for Iran�s 12th round of presidential election is expected to be announced by the Interior Ministry on April 26�27.

Election campaign will officially begin on April 28 and end on May 17. The Election Day is on May 19.
