i24 news- Developments in Syria have changed the situation fundamentally,' Johnson's office says
U.K. Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson on Saturday canceled a visit to Moscow scheduled for Monday over "developments in Syria" that "have changed the situation fundamentally."
"My priority is now to continue contact with the US and others in the run up to the G7 meeting on 10-11 April," said Johnson, lamenting "Russia's continuing defense of the Assad regime".
Johnson made the decision after consulting U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson over how to handle the fallout from an American missile attack on a Syrian airfield in response to a suspected sarin gas attack that killed at least 80 people, according to the Telegraph.
