Tasnim� Iranian lawmakers commended Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei for bringing into focus national production and job-creating programs, pledging their all-out support for that initiative in the parliament.

In a statement read out in an open session of the parliament on Wednesday, 235 lawmakers hailed Ayatollah Khamenei�s judicious decision to focus on domestic production and employment as the overriding matters of concern for the country�s economy.

In a message on the occasion of Nowruz on March 20, Ayatollah Khamenei named the new Iranian calendar year the �Year of Economy of Resistance: Production and Employment".

In their statement, the parliamentarians reaffirmed support for plans to stimulate domestic production and trade, saying the legislature will do its utmost to provide employment for the country�s labor force.

In a letter to the Leader on March 22, President Hassan Rouhani had also reiterated his administration�s commitment to implementing the �Resistance Economy� plan to help stimulate domestic production and combat unemployment.
