Ebtekar: Iran, Iraq to jointly control dust storms

IRNA – Vice President and Head of Iran’s Department of the Environment, Massoumeh Ebtekar said on Wednesday that The National Development Fund of Iran (NDFI) has allocated $100 million to revive wetland.

Talks with Iraqi government are underway which might be implemented within coming weeks, she said.

This year the UN is to hold the first conference on dust which should be regarded as a very important issue, she said.
