Zarif calls on envoys to attract export markets

MNA Irans FM Zarif called on the private sector to play a more active part for the realization of resistance economy, adding ambassadors of the Islamic republic should facilitate the economic activities of the private sector.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif noted that the direct responsibility of his ministry in the department of foreign policy is paving the way for more economic activities by expanding relations with neighboring countries and removing obstacles, adding that Irans nuclear deal, dubbed JCPOA, has been a tremendous help in this regard.

Resistance economy has a foreign aspect to it too which involves the export of certain commodities, Zarif said, adding in this regard, ambassadors and representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran in other countries have been tasked to operate in such fields.

Zarif deemed engineering services and workforce two other important issues in the area of exports, adding in addition to investment funds and private capital, foreign capital for production and employment is of great value. Our imports focus on advanced technologies and the facilitation of access to advanced technologies is among the responsibilities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Iranian top diplomat further stressed the attraction of foreign tourists as a factor for investment, job creation and development, adding our agencies across the world are now issuing visas right at the Iranian airports for nationals of about 180 countries.
