Tasnim– The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) highlighted the involvement of his forces in Iran’s development projects, saying even enemies acknowledge the IRGC’s “decisive” contributions to the reconstruction of the country.
“Some 30 years have passed since the (Iraqi imposed) war ended and with the grace of God, the IRGC has had decisive impacts on the reconstruction of the country as acknowledged by both friends and enemies,” Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari told the Tasnim News Agency in an exclusive interview.
He further emphasized that the capabilities of the IRGC technicians and engineers should be at the service of the people in various areas and the best area is reconstruction of the country.
The IRGC commander also said that the IRGC undertakes to implement development projects as a contractor at the request of the country’s administration, ministries and other employers.
Back in April 2016, Commander of Khatam al-Anbia Construction Base, a conglomerate belonging to the IRGC, said the base is implementing 10 national mega projects, the completion of which will take 2 years if sufficient funds are provided.
There have been 85 percent of progress in the construction of these projects, General Ebadollah Abdollahi said at the time, predicting a great development in the county when they are put into operation.
