Swedish PM officially welcomed in Tehran

IRNA – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday officially welcomed Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven at the Saadabad Cultural Complex.

Swedish prime minister arrived in Tehran on Friday evening for an official three-day visit.

He is scheduled to discuss issues of mutual interest with Iranian officials.

It is expected that Swedish delegation ink a number of documents with Iranian officials to boost cooperation in various fields.

Iran and Sweden trade forum was held in June with the attendance of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Swiss Minister for EU Affairs and Trade Ann Linde.

Iran exports carpet, fruit, coffee and tea to Sweden and imports pharmaceutical products and machinery from the country.
