IRNA � Senior lawmaker says that the Western propaganda broadcast against Iran�s missile achievements has never been true.


Alaeddin Boroujerdi, chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, made the remarks at a local gathering on Monday.

The Western propaganda is incorrect as Iran is faithful to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) regulations and also to its religious beliefs based on the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei�s fatwa that prohibits nuclear weapons.

Talking of Iran�s scientific achievements, Boroujerdi said, �The Iranian nation�s vigilance is a reality.�

About the US President Donald Trump�s sabre-rattling, the senior parliamentarian reiterated that the Iranian scholars are present in the important scientific centers in that country.

On January 27, Trump signed a discriminatory executive order which bans entry of citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries, including Iran, to the United States. Now, an American judge has suspended the order.
