Iran sells 50mb of condensate in post-JCPOA setting

Shana -- A senior Iranian oil official says Iran has exported over 50 million barrels of gas condensate since implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) back in January 2016.

Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Ali Kardor told a press conference on Saturday that production of the item has increased from 325,000 b/d in 2013 to 550,000 b/d in January 2017.

The official also said that over 75 million barrels of condensate was stored in floating storage facilities which have reached 25 million barrels now and will be completely sold by April.

Kardor added that Iran has earned over $2b by selling 50 million barrels of the item since the JCPOA implementation.
He further said Iran is currently exporting 2.9 million barrels of crude oil and gas condensate per day which will cross 3mbd in February.
