IRNA � Majlis first Vice-Speaker Massoud Pezeshkian has commented on the visa ban imposed by the US on the seven Muslim nations including Iran, saying the measure indicated that the US human rights slogans are empty rhetoric.


Speaking to IRNA, Pezeshkian said the US pretends that it is an advocate of democracy, but it exploits democracy just whenever the policy is to the US benefit.

The US can talk about 'democracy' only when it does not raise walls between the nations, the parliamentarian noted.

New US President Donald Trump has recently tweeted that he would put into force his decision for building a 3,200 km long wall across the joint border with Mexico.
