Tehran condemns terrorist attack on Canada Islamic center

IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman, Bahram Qasemi, on Monday condemned terrorist attack on an Islamic center in Quebec of Canada, which killed six and injured eight others.

Qasemi described the terrorist move as ‘inhuman and criminal’ and expressed sympathy with the berieved families of the victims.

Regretfully the terrorist act in an Islamic center in Quebec of Canada proved that terrorism is not limited to one region or several countries as all countries in the world could be targeted by the measures of those criminal and terrorist groups, he said.

An international and sincere determination is required to prevent promotion of extremism and terrorism, he said.

In a terrorist attack on Sunday night in Quebec, some six people attained martyrdom and eight others were injured, some of them are in critical situation.

Two people have been arrested to that connection.
