Obama sees JCPOA as major achievement of his administration

IRNA – US President Barack Obama has described the nuclear deal with Iran, resumption of relations with Cuba and killing of the leader of the terrorist group of al Qaeda as the major achievements gained by his administration.

‘ …, shut down Iran’s nuclear weapons program without firing a shot, …,’ President Obama said during his Wednesday farewell speech to the American people in Chicago.

The transition of power in the US will take place on January 20 when the 45th American President Donald Trump will take office.

Winning the electoral vote on November 8, Trump was elected as the next US president while his rival Hillary Clinton won the popular vote.
