JCPOA empowers Iran's private sector: Minister

IRNA The nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, has empowered Iran's private sector, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi says.

The JCPOA constitutes one of the strengths of the government, Vaezi said in a conference on the Resistance Economy in the northern province of Gilan.

He noted that as a result of the JCPOA, the international markets reopened to Iran and the Iranian private sector was empowered.

The Iranian minister also called for grounds to be prepared for export of goods to Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kirghizstan.

By connecting the Astara railway to the Caspian Seal littoral states, trade in the region will be promoted, Vaezi said.

The Qazvin-Rasht-Astara railway will play a key role in economic development of the region, the official also said.

Vaezi added that the JCPOA prepared the ground for reconstruction of Iran's aerial navy and encouraged a global trust in Iran.
