MNA– A high-ranking academic delegation from Austria including the head of Austrian Agency for International Cooperation will visit Iran in near future, Iranian Deputy Minister of Science Hossein Salar Amoli said Sun.
Hossein Salar Amoli told Mehr News that the Austrian delegation composing the head of Austrian Agency for International Cooperation as well as rectors and representatives of 12 prestigious universities and research centers in Austria will visit Iran by the end of this month in order to further develop academic diplomacy among the universities of both countries.
Austria’s universities of arts as well as those active in science and industry affiliated with oil industry, basic sciences and engineering will accompany this large delegation to Iran.
According to Salar Amoli, the main university in charge of cooperation with Austrian universities will be Kharazmi University that will receive additional help from Tehran University of Arts, AUT Petroleum Engineering Department, and a number of other universities.
“The two countries have proposed that each year the Iranian side and the Austrian side will each invest 200,000 euros on scientific and technological projects,” he added.
