Iran IT minister arrives in Nakhchivan

IRNA – Iran’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology (CTI) Mahmoud Vaezi arrived in Azerbaijan’s autonomous republic of Nakhchivan on Thursday morning.

Vaezi’s visit to Nakhchivan is taking place in continuation of the 11th joint economic commission between Iran and Azerbaijan that started on Dec 27 in Baku.

Vaezi, the Iranian chairman of Iran-Azerbaijan economic commission, is accompanied by Economy Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev who is also the co-chairman of the economic commission.

While in Nachivan, the Iranian minister if to launch Nakhchivan-Mashad railroad project, tour the construction process of a power plant and meet with Chairman of Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Vasif Talibov.

Vaezi and his 100-member delegation arrived in the Azeri capital on Monday afternoon (Dec 26).
