President in Tehran after 3-nation tour of Central Asia

IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani and the accompanying delegation arrived in Tehran on Friday evening after winding up the three-nation tour of Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Supreme Leader’s International Affairs Advisor Ali-Akbar Velayati and the First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri were at Tehran Mehrabad Airport to welcome the president.
The president’s visit falls in line with his government’s policy to promote ties and cooperation with the neighbors and regional states.
While in Armenia, the president signed five Memoranda of Understanding and agreement for cooperation in tourism, museum, sports and border affairs.
