Spokesman: Iran, Russia, Turkey FMs to meet in Moscow on Tuesday

IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said here on Monday that the foreign ministers of Iran, Russia and Turkey are scheduled to hold a meeting in Moscow on December 20.

Initiated by Iran, Qasemi said, the trilateral meeting was initially planned for December 27, but due to the current developments in Syria, particularly the liberation of Aleppo from the hands of terrorist groups, the meeting will be held Monday.

He noted that another meeting is currently underway among the Russian, Turkish and representatives of a number of Syrian opposition groups in Kazakhstan which is not related to the trilateral gathering in Moscow.
