IRNA � Iranian Minister of Defense and Logistics of the Armed Forces Brigadier-General Hossein Dehqan departed Tehran for Pretoria, South Africa, on Monday to review defense cooperation with his South African counterparts.

The visit to Pretoria is being made upon an official invitation by his South African defense minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula.

During his two-day visit, the Iranian minister will review issues of mutual interest, as well as the latest regional and international issues with senior South African officials.

Signing a defense cooperation agreement between the two countries will also be on the agenda.
