IRNA � Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said on Sunday that what happens in West Asian region will significantly affect the new world order in the future.

Zarif made the remarks in an address to Tehran Security Conference which opened in the Iranian capital on Sunday.

The West will no longer be the center of developments in the world, the foreign minister said, adding, 'Until now, all the developments in the world order were formed in the West, but today the condition has changed.'

Noting that there are common challenges exposed to the Middle East and the entire world, Zarif said as the international conditions are changing, no challenge will remain forever and no opportunity will remain an opportunity forever.
