SHANA- Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Ali Larijani said the signature of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) has paved the way for oil and gas investments in Iran.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Larijani said the nuclear deal paved the way for investment in oil and gas sectors and talks are now under way for development of energy projects that will hopefully solve economic problems in the country.

He said grounds must be paved for facilitation of foreign investments in the country and supportive laws must be passed by the lawmakers in the parliament
