Iranian, Algerian, Venezuelan oil ministers confer in Vienna

Shana -- Iranian, Algerian and Venezuelan ministers of petroleum held a trilateral meeting at the Vienna airport upon arrival there and conferred latest developments in the oil market.

Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh, Algerian Energy Minister Noureddine Boutarfa and Venezuelas Eulogio Del Pino discussed the topics to be conferred in the 171st ordinary session of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) on Wednesday.

Zangeneh departed Tehran for Vienna on November 29 (Tuesday) to attend the 171st ordinary session of the OPEC on November 30.

Algerian Energy Minister Noureddine Boutarfa and Venezuelas Eulogio Del Pino were in Moscow before departing for Vienna.

They met in Algiers on Monday and then traveled to Moscow to discuss the upcoming OPEC meeting with the Russian Energy minister Alexander Novak.

Iranian petroleum minister said upon arrival to his hotel in Vienna that "We continue to implement what we agreed in Algeria for reduction of level of production."

The 171st OPEC session will be held in its permanent headquarters in the Austrian capital on Wednesday(November 30).

During its extraordinary session in Algeria on September 28, OPEC members decided to fix their production at the level of 32,500,000 bpd.
