Iranian GM holds FIDE Women’s GP leader at draw
MNA – Khademalsharieh Iran's representative at the final leg of the FIDE Women’s GP drew against Georgia's's Batsiashvili, the top athlete so far into the event.The sixth round of the final and decisive leg of FIDE Women’s Grand Prix 2015/2016 on Friday saw Iran’s International Master Sarasadat Khademalsharieh tying with the tough Georgian rival Nino Batsiashvili. 

Batsiashvili of Georgia, Khademalsharieh's opponent at round six, enjoys the top position so far at the event which is being competed at Ugra Chess Academy in Russia’s Khanty Mansiysk.

Also in the fifth round of FIDE Women’s GP held on Thursday November 24, the Iranian chess player ended her game against Georgia's Lela Javakhishvili.

Iran’s International Master Khademalsharieh had previously bagged draws in the first, second, fourth rounds of the tournament while she came out victorious in the third round.

The International Master of Iran is scheduled to play a game against Natalija Pogonina of the host country in Round 7 on the sportive event.

From the 18th of November till the 2nd of December the capital of Ugra is hosting the final and decisive leg of the FIDE Women’s Grand Prix 2015/2016.

The players are competing in a round-robin tournament of 11 rounds. Time control gives each player 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move from move one.
