Iran-Slovenia Trade Commission convenes
IRNA Iran-Slovenia Trade Commission convened on Tuesday in presence of President Borut Pahor and Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian as well as representatives of 50 Slovenian companies at Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.

The companies are involved in businesses ranging from aerial transport, energy, banking and monetary, tourism, communications and information technology equipment, to electronic devices and machinery for construction, agriculture, medicine, food industries, industry and mines.

The event is also attended by the companies operating in fields of shipping, manufacturing the electronic devices, commerce, economic and organization services, pharmaceutical industry, producing engines and industrial turbines.

Slovenia's economy has an industrial structure and 75 percent of its domestic gross product is reliant on exports.

Based on official statistics, Iran-Slovenia commercial exchanges has declined in recent years and reached from 96 million euro in 2001 to 46 million euro in 2012 and 500,000 euro in 2013.

Slovenian president is on a visit to Tehran leading a 50-member delegation comprising businessmen.

The Slovenian president was accorded formal welcome by President Hassan Rouhani at Sa'abad cultural complex on Tuesday morning.
