Tasnim � The Iranian Intelligence Ministry has smashed a team of terrorists in the eastern parts of the country, an official announced.

Deputy Interior Minister for Security Affairs Hossein Zolfaqari told reporters on Tuesday that the terrorist cell had four members, three of whom have been arrested and one has been killed.

The security forces have confiscated explosive materials from the terrorist team, he added.

Arrests of terrorist groups are not rare along Iran�s eastern borders. Tehran says the responsibility lies with the neighbors to prevent the terrorist groups from crossing the border and entering Iran.
