IRNA � Head of Farashband city Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Morteza Keshavarz said on Tuesday that a group of German tourists, who visited tourist attractions of the city and its palm groves, also became familiar with life style of tribes in the city.


Keshavarz said the 21-member German group stayed at tribal camp all night and became familiar with the life style, local dish and tribal handicrafts.
He said Farashband has more than 3000 hectares of palm groves with 38 different kinds of date.
Farashband is located 170 kilometers southwest of Shiraz.
