Iran, Romania ink 2 cooperation documents

IRNA Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Romanian counterpart Laz?r Com?nescu signed two joint cooperation documents Wednesday.

One of the documents is related to political consultations between Iran and Romania while the other one is concerned with visa waiver for Iranian diplomats.

Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif arrived in the Romanian capital late on November 8 on the first leg of his three-nation tour to the Eastern Europe.

Zarif is scheduled to meet Romanian Prime Minister Dacian Ciolo? and the President of the Chamber of Deputies Florin Iordache.

He is also to attend a trade meeting and a conference on the fight against terrorism and extremism.

About 30 businesspersons in different fields, including banking, energy, transportation, medical services, pharmaceuticals, mine, car parts and agricultural machinery accompany foreign minister during the trip.

The Iranian foreign minister would also travel to Slovakia and the Czech Republic on the second and third legs of his tour to Eastern Europe.
