Iran, Russia ink entrepreneurship MoU

MNA Head of ITVTO and CEO of Worldskills Russian Union have inked an MoU to train skilled and semi-skilled human resources in technical and vocational fields.


Iranian Deputy Minister of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare Mohammad Amin Sazegarnejad, who is staying in Russia, met and talked with Worldskills Russian Union CEO Robert Urazov.

During the joint meeting, Irans Sazegarnejad stressed the need for organizing technical and vocational training courses as well as exploiting facilities to train skilled and semi-skilled human resources required in vocational and entrepreneurship areas.

Sazgarnejad, who also heads Iranian Technical and Vocational Training Organization (ITVTO) said the meeting aimed to exchange information and experiences between Iranian and Russian sides asserting Tehran and Moscow are able to launch constructive cooperation in skills training by exchanging relevant experiences.

The newly-inked Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) covers numerous activities including holding of scientific seminars, short-term meeting and visits of both countries, deployment of managers, experts in areas related to technical and vocational education and instructor training centers as well as exchange of trainers and trainees all aiming to develop bilateral cooperation.

Other issues included in the agreement are presentation of relevant standards, content, resources and equipment in the field of education, offering up-to-date training to instructors of ITVTO and Russian experts in addition to seminars, workshops and study scientific visits of both parties.
